Streaming graphics have always been some of my favorite projects to take on. Check out various streaming packages and in-game overlays below!
Background
Over the years, streaming video games on platforms such as Twitch.tv has become incredibly popular. Streamers have grown such close-knit communities with their fans, that it oftentimes feels as though the streamer is truly friends with a lot of the viewers. With the boom in streaming, video overlays started to become incredibly popular.
What Are Streaming Overlays?
Streaming overlays are graphic elements designed in a way to overlay on top of the game the streamer is playing. These overlays aim to enhance the viewing experience, engage the audience, and provide additional information related to the stream or the game being played. Explaining all this to my grandma when she asked me what I did for work was quite the experience.
Coinbase x Team Liquid
These are various overlays for influencers and talent on Team Liquid who were streaming as brand ambassadors for Coinbase. I got to work creating all the assets. I have listed them below!
Graphics needed: In-game overlay (both full border and small), in-between games overlay, starting soon screen, and thank you for watching screen.
Hearthstone Open by IMC
I was approached to do a streaming package for a Team Liquid Hearthstone Open tournament. With Hearthstone being a game with such cool asthetics, I really wanted to play into that while remaining within Team Liquid’s branding guidelines.
Graphics needed: caster overlay for the event, In-game overlay, and a break screen overlay.
